yep. i have a DVI/VGA adapter.

i plugged my better monitor into it, and it works just fine. all i had to do was swap the displays because i had my monitors flipped.

otherwise, yes it works.

YEah, itll work.  I had to use the adapter and I have no problems with it (well except for my crappy monitors being crappy)

Question: does this double-heading affect frame rates and/or smoothness; i.e. does it seem to take a performance toll?

I believe it does, but Ive been disabling my secondary monitor for FS as weird stuff happens (horizontal lines) when both monitors are on and because it is such a PITA to get the sim ready for 2 monitors (windowed mode, undock, drag, maximize, and do it all again every time you load the sim)

i hear ya, do what i do, all your simv stuff on a laptop, and FS always running (with me, concurrent wirh my FS server) and BAM, problem solved :P

the only framerate affect i see i the fact that the vid card is pumping out 2 screens, making it work harder. i saw a 3-6fps drop, but it's worth it.
