Tweaking My pc

Hi,
First post here in this section. Even though my machine is pretty old I still think that it could give better performance. Heres the stats:
Intel Pentium 4 3.Ghz
1024mb of memory
Radeon 9800 XT 256 mb
Any ideas would be much apprecieated.
