RAM  Recovered

Postby caveman16 » Fri Dec 16, 2005 8:59 am

Good Morning to all you Guys and Ladies,     Thought I'd drop a little  info on you. This is what I've discovered about my  "sorry PC "  ;D     It's a Gateway Microtower that can't be up-graded.      At startup I have 768.00mb RAM   installed.     W/windows Task Manager I also have 30 processes running. /////  I also have 542.73 mb RAM  available.                Using the program  [Optimise Memory] I get  571.23 mb RAM.  With  [Enditall] included and 7 proceses closed I get 580.30 mb RAM. No processes are killed.       With Enditall  and  Optimise Memory  working I now get 594.69 mb RAM. This is a GAIN [Recovered] 51.96 mb of RAM.      This helps me with my FS2k2.   Here's hoping this info can help others with a "Slo-poke" PC.    caveman

Sorry - - - - - I forgot to mention that it takes about 4 - - - 5 min  for the "programs" to settle down while still increasing the RAM.     [ After I've finished ].       caveman
