well. my computer hasn't fried yetlol, I took it down to 2.81 GHz, now it is hitting temps no higher then 55 deg C, and I am happy with that, although now I am addicted to overclocking

is there any other limit? one thing is, do not raise voltage, at least very much, more power going thru the CPU make the stuff shake which then causes the metal to degrade, and after time destroys your CPU

thats the only other limit

btw, I have a liquid cooling system, its a lot more maintnance than air cooling, just a couple weeks ago i had to change out the fluid and install new tubing. The reason i installed new tubing is cause there was bacteria growing on the tubes. Of course that was only because i forgot to put a couple drops of Anit-Bacteria in.  ::)

Well, in the BIOS setup, I have the voltage on auto. Should I keep it there, or should I set it manualy?

Thanks, I wouldn't wanna blow this CPU, my dad would probably be not too happy ;)

When it breaks and you will try to claim on your warrenty they will know you o/ced it because the little fuse type thing inside the chip will be broken and it will tell them that it was o/ced.  Too late now though, you already voided your warrenty.

your not good at voiding warranties until you start modding computers, cd-roms, harddrives, mouses, keyboard, graphics cards, routers, :-P

uhh, I am currently overclocking my video card  :-/

Well! to get to the point: what are the warnings that you are overclocking too high? I hear you get Artifacts, is that the only warning?

Thankyou, but please tell of any other warnings if there is any! Thankyou!
