Freeware snooker?

Postby ozzy72 » Tue Jul 27, 2010 7:17 am

Does anyone know of a good freeware/abandonware snooker game? I've tried the usual sites but so far nothing. Jimmy White's won't run on XP etc etc.
Any thoughts?

Thanks Aussie, I've been looking for a couple of days but that first one is by far the best looking I've seen (got a couple of nice pool ones but fancied some snooker) ;)

First one turns out to be a demo, and the third a vertical rather than realistic game. Think I might spend my week off next week working out how to write one... or just go and buy one. Just realised how much I miss playing snooker and the local club has just been shut ::)

Not to nitpick or anything but that game only works when you install the Ask.com toolbar and make Ask.com you default search engine. I know it's free but installing junk that I don't want goes a bit too far.

My favourite is pineapple cheesecake on a biscuit base :)

Just say when and where and we'll have a cheesecake eating competition.

Downloaded and installed the game again. Unchecked the installation of mentioned junk. It still asks for it when you want to play the game, unabling the PLAY button if you uncheck anything. So I let it install the toolbars and stuff. I don't know where it installed it (probably IE8) but since I don't use that, fine.

Neat billiards game though.

Carlo ;)

oh well, it just so happens i've spent the past few months programming one of those - that's my, as you'd say, "job", hehe ::)

AND, you get to play in multiplayer agains other folks too!  ;)

the UI is all in portuguese, since we're a brazillian site, but i guess it's pretty straightforward even if you don't understand what it says  ;D
