Two LOMAC Questions

Postby RaptorF22 » Fri May 07, 2010 3:11 pm

1st question:
How do I disengage the angle of attack limiter so I can execute a Pugachev's Cobra?

2nd question:
Whenever I tell grad rocket launchers to attack a target, they launch one or two rockets and then explode.
Any ideas why?

Ok, thanks, I'll try that.
It said in the manual that K was "execute pugachev's cobra", but I thought that meant it would do it automatically, I never thought that was the key to turn off the AOA limiter, but that is probably it.

I don't really know, I will check the site tomorrow.

Thanks!! ;D

I don't blame you, you practically have to be a combat pilot to play LOMAC, it took me forever just to figure out how to fire AMRAAMS, and I still have to boresight them, I can't figure out how to get a radar lock.  it doesn't help that the tutorial text is way too fast to read.

Yeah, it takes a while but once you know how to do it there's nothing like firing off an AIM120 at a Mig29 BVR and watching it squirm as it tries to evade whilst still trying to lock you (I love Fire and forget :P)
