Problems with mouse clicking----Fixed... for now----

Postby Tai-2 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:15 am

Hi, I have had this mouse for a long time, and I am having this problem :
Sometimes, after a random amount of time, I cannot click in side of a window, unless I switch windows for a seccond using alt tab. In firefox when this happens, I cannot use any links, for in IE8(which I hate) I can, right now it is working, but like i said, it happens randomly. It is a Dynex wireless mouse Model# DX-WLMSE

Mouses are relatively cheap. I'd just go buy a new one. This may show another problem that is manifesting itself through the mouse...

sorry it took so long to reply, had it set to be notified, but now it is working fine, both of my wired ball mouse and wireless optical. It seems to not work on random days for some reason

My old, trusty Dell wired laser mouse gave up on me a while ago.. It was getting hard to click on things... So I went out and got me a great optical wired mouse from Microsoft... A nice, simple 3 button mouse (left/right click, middle scroll wheel) that I don't have to worry about changing the battery with ;)

I hate wireless keyboard/mice precisely because of that... I can't be bothered with playing a video game and having to change the battery... no no no
