Train Sim

Postby Sir_Crashalot » Fri Sep 04, 2009 1:47 pm

Hi,

I've recently re-installed Microsoft Trainsimulator. It's nice but it's also old and not working very well. FPS are low and some freeware routes don't work or are missing vital parts. So I've been looking into a new trainsim. RailSimulator (by KUJU and EA) or Trainz 2009. Anybody have experience with one or the other? How are these sims? I've seen screenshots of both and they look very promissing.

The only thing that puts me off Train Simulators is that, similar to my various Truck Simulators, you cannot go off on your own, and wander around the lovely scenery, like you can in the Flight Simulators!... ;)... ;D...!

One is stuck to a Rail Track, the other is stuck to the Highway!

Paul... :)...!

Don;t get railsimulator any more...go for Railworks instead.....it's essentially the same game but with more scope for add ons ;)
