Any free Vista Train Sims out there or demos?

Postby tcco94 » Tue Oct 07, 2008 3:31 am

Ive always wanted to try a Train Sim...
Ive tried a ship sim but its boring but the train sim seems to not have a demo are there any out there or maybe a free full game that is made by a company?

Ive found a free full version that they say is better than Microsofts and the best part is it's free but it wasnt vista compadible. Im sure the train sim will be the most boring game ever but I wanna give it a try  8-).

Thanks ;)

Can you post a link to the free train sim so that others can evaluate it and give you feedback?
Its only in your mind, strong mind, strong soul and nobody can take that from you!

Built on FSX engine...
Gives me some nice ideas about smoke production (hint: search for 2te10 on youtube... huge loads of smoke doesnt stop at planes in russia)
Found the video... 2x 3-part locomotive and 3 compressor cars (70% is refrigerator cars that come in 5-car sets with a compressor unit) in a huge freight train

Ther is something out called Rail Simulator. There is a free demo and I've tried it. It looks pretty good. Ther's passengers and everything:

It's the latest train simulator availible. I have the older MSTS It's good, but I wouldn't get it at this point, not that you were going to do that.

Russian diesel locomotives are considered some of the better locs out there that can operate in almost any condition. The eastern germany locomotives are still running, although i keep forgetting there name, there a pretty massive sight!

For some reason, mine will not run the .exe file. A lot of harddrive activity, but it fails to launch after a while.
