I have to report, that on my laptop (Vista + Vista SP1), I have jumped from 15-ish FPS to 35-ish FPS. I was quite shocked, but am not complaining. FSX has become a new game............as I type, it is installing on my desktop. Have to wait and see what happens. I am hoping that my Nvidia 8600GT with 1024MB on board will make some magic for me. I will let you know.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Matt...

Did you un-install Vista + Vista SP1 on your Laptop, and replace it with Win XP SP3 to notice the difference?

SP2 is still very good. Extreamly stable and stright forward. I have no need to go SP3.

The only thing I would REALLY love, is a Service Pack upgrade to prevent all the hundreds of E-Mail Spammers from invading my In-Box every day!

...now THAT would be a worth-while upgrade, Mr Microsoft!... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!
