One more COD4 Question

My brother and I play frequenly and noticed something between rounds. Whenever the round ends and it shows everyones scores, I've noticed that certain people have Dog Tags next to their name and some don't. I've even had them once or twice. What does it mean? There is nothing in my manuel that tells me. I play the PC version. Thanks guys!

I think that means you were dead when the round ended.

As matt says, you are a corpse when the match ended.... you get the dogtags anytime during the round whilst dead, but the leaderboard hangs at the end of the match and so everyone can see who was alive when the points ran out.

Thanks again fellas. Made Brigadier General II, almost half way to Major General. Trying to reach 5 star on my old rig before I put COD4 on my new one. I heard on the XBOX once you hit 5 star you start all over again? Only there is some sort of extra symbol next to your rank? What happens in the PC version? And also next time around it unlocks gold weapons?  :-?

Yes, you have the option to start over again if you want, and you get a new symbol next to your name. I think it does also unlock higher damage weapons. You can start over a maximum of 5 times, with a new symbol each time. The only reason really is to show off
