BF2 Stats Offline

Postby a1 » Thu Jun 21, 2007 3:03 pm

Has anyone heard of the BF2 Stats outrage? EA says that the stat server is down for some reason since June 15. All the stats from all servers aren't being recorded.  :-/ I hope EA fixes the server and give us back all our points earned during the time because I am not getting 15+ Sniper kills in one game again. ::)

What's your opinion? ;)

Bf2 stats only show how much one can camp in my opinion. I have almost 500 hours  in bf2 and now I think it's horrible.

1: People just camp for kills (To show on there stats?)
2: Engine can only handle your player shooting at one character at a time (you really notice it)
3: Hitboxes often lag behind the player

You like snipers eh...? Well in Counter Strike Source, unlike bf2 snipers don't take upto five shots to kill someone. One shot per kill with the AWP.

You should try it. Though it takes ALLOT of practise.

you being serious, are you suggesting CSS requires skill to play? when you come across a public CSS server that doesnt have atleast 1 hacker (aimbot, ESP) no rates hackers (the most annoying thing about the source engine is the ability to change the rate at which you send and recieve packets from the server) then you will notice that CSS requires no skill what so ever. it mite just be me and ub4r leetnes on source games (DoDS especaily :P ) but CSS is a lil kids game. BF2 is alrite but as you said the engine is limited and the stats do centre around kills way to much. but, if you complain about camping on BF2 yet you like CSS you obviosuly havnt played CSS all that much. its called camper strike for a reason :P

No. You just suck at it.

:)

Seriously, you're going to far by saying it requires no skill. In bf2 you can shoot someone five times with a M16. He'll turn around and magically spray you with his PKM in about 5 shots. Yep. Skill.

I know why I don't have BF2.

Because Joint Operations is better. You get points for transporting people, for healing people, shared vehicle kills, etc...

The only annyoing thing is the snipers, but at least you can see them from miles away, get behind their back and since most of those fokkers are as dumb as bread and never change positions, knife 'em. ;D

And the spawn naders, but that's easier to handle. Just switch teams, TK that dumbarse and there ya go.

didnt i say both require no skill. BF2 is just full of lil kids with assualt classes bunnyhopping like tigger on speed! with no reg! CSS is full of lil kids, bad rates so no reg, trying to be leet and bunnyhop shoot. shame mt AK or M4 headshots em while they are trying to rape me... oh and, btw the best way to take out a sniper in CSS is to leave the cover at the same time as a team mate, let him go first, let him take the shot then bunny hop (properly - jump crouch and shoot) a flashbang helps but you can disable the effect so can be pointless.

that or in your console type

cl_cmdrate 40
cl_updaterate 40
cl_interp 0.05
rate 15000

and you will be able to hit other, but they wont be able to hit you!
