windows vista games question?

Does Halo2 (games for windows(vista)) runs on XP??

on the day of release  i went out and got Halo 2 for my Xbox after the awesomenes of Halo: combat evolved

and i was so disapointed, the SP story line was basicly the same. just better graphics and its based on a un-recognisable earth! the MP is exactly the same.

halo 2 is  p00p to put it simply. and i am not holding my breath for Halo3
