Well, I tried this question in the FSX forum and it was completely ignored, so I will try here. I suppose I run the risk of the usual pirate comments, but here goes. On Amazon it is possible to by second hand FSX at considerable cost saving. As FSX has to be registered will the registration be accepted or will I have to for example buy a key thus putting the price up to that of a new copy.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
