Battlefield 2 multiplayer

now how do i go on a multiplayer game. do i really have to go and creat a gsmespy account?

no gamespy is not needed just go to multiplayer and online and it should give you an option to create an account

when i enter my screen name and password it is fine. then when i go to the next step it pops up and says the uniquenik is already in use. i can't creat an account.

Make sure you created an ID for multiplayer, BF2 allows you to make one for single player and multi.

and a reinstall has fixed problems with my bf2 before, it told me my cd key was invalid so i reinstalled it and it worked again ;)

Its true...BF2 is a bit dodgy when it comes to working....I had to reinstall a few time before it started working consistently.

i need to fine a free ranked multiplayer server for my version. the version is 1.1.2551.0. I can't seem to fine a good one that is not full or is not my version. Can anybody help?

you probably dont have a good chance of finding one for your version as everyone upgrades especially the server hosts so your just better off getting the patches

just download the patch - http://www.gamershell.com/download_16477.shtml its only 500mb, and you HAVE to update if you want to play it online
