remove Internet Explore. I can't figure it out!

(just kidding....I thought I saw a post in here somewhere that told how to do it....put I think you can get rid of it like Ashar said...Install/Remove Programs under the Control Panel.)

I don't think you can remove IE completely. Even if you can if you did you would no longer be able to update windows.
I posted awhile back how you could uninstall IE7 and returning it to IE6.

control pannel - add/remove programs - add/remove windows components

un-tick the 'internet explorer' box.  thats the way i would do it...i dont know if it completely removes it though, or just shoves it into the background so to speak.

You can't remove it completely. It's like windows messenger and outlook express and a few other programmes that are hard coded into windows.
