CTRL KEY STUCK HELP!!!

the ctrl key is stuck on my computer.  i have unplugged it from the comp, and it is still stuck internaly.  I don't know whats wrong, I hav't installed any new hardware.   Please help
EDIT:  all better, just got a new keyboard.

maybe something is stuck under it or at the sides

no, I have completely unplugged the keyboard and tries typing with the onscreeen on, and it still is all glitchy
