Absolutely... considering MS is devoted to creating new markets, a secure market for software makers to "SIGN UP" and "PAY" Microsoft for the use of the O/S tattle-tale system is just another business venture.... Being software, movie and other piracy is a #1 issue, Micorsoft is actually smart for developing a system to collect fees for it.

MS is in business to make money, not give you the ultimate computer experience and make you feel comfortable. Their stock and futures are questionable right now. If MS does not do something in the next 2 years they will be in trouble.

They are going after the search engine and Ipod market too...
