wheres the modern combat sims

Postby n_richardson05 » Tue May 09, 2006 7:38 am

i dont know about you but there seems to be a serious lack of good modern combat flight simulators. There is locked on witch is ok but limited and jet fighter (if your really desprite) but there is yet to be a good one with a variety of aircraft and weapons somthing like a ace combat  for the pc but less mission based and more sim like. but keep the close combat.

Falcon 4.0 + AF is really great! It won't give you the aircraft variety you want, though.

They're out there, you just have to know where to look. ;) :)

Check out the first one there, or click on my sig, and I think you'll find something somewhat close to what you have been looking for, but it will be a little while before it's released. ;)

No, it will be released in modules, and the training module with Laughlin, TX and the T-6 Texan II, T-37 Tweet, and the T-38 Talon will be released towards the end of the year. ;)

Hardly a "Sim" I grant you, but for Modern combat, Battlefield 2 takes some beating imo.
