Ok, how stupid are Microsoft? I just rung them, and spent 5 mins of my time telling her every possible thing that she could ever need to know, and then she tells me that the call centre is closing and I will need to ring back tomorrow and repeat everything I just said! Normally if your call gets answered before closing time, then the person stays on the line until your problem is solved, this is rediculous!  >:(

Have you tried installing any other games? It could just be that there isnt any record of DX9 being used, so FS dosn't think it exists. Try installing something like the BF2 demo.

Could you reccomend another programme to install that you knwo uses DX, its just that the demo I found for BF2 was Uber, anything smaller? Even with Download Accelerator it was predicting 2 hours.  ;D

The Need for Speed Most Wanted Demo should do ya. If not that, F.E.A.R. should do ya just fine.
