H & D 2 is fantastic, it feels realistic, great atmosphere, and you actually have a mission to do..unlike COD, where ya just go out an kill!

H&D2 is BRILLIANT

100%, loved it. FANTASTIC>

Thought i was the only one woody...

Cheers.

Well you do have a set target/mission on CoD, and while the atmosphere is good on H&D, the atmosphere in CoD is outstanding. It almost feels as if you are actually there, fighting the war yourself. Much more of an adrenaline filled game, rather than being strategy based.

I played Call of Duty, then United Offensive. Now I'm half way through CoD2 and losing interest fast....
I find the "auto health" to be a thing which needs attention, and still, as I run around shooting and getting shot, the whole game isn't all that much different from the previous ones.....its just another "first person shooter" with better graphics and animations as the technology to present them onscreen, has been

Well of course the Graphics are going to be better. These games are seperated by well over a year.

I think you should try H&D2 before you booboo it too much. :)

Sorry matey, I've recently borrowed it off a friend and I've given it (H&D 2)  a whirl, frankly, it did'nt sail my ship, not at all. :-[

After being used to "high settings" BF2 & CoD 2, its not surprising, I agree.

Got CoD2 on Thursday and am already half way through it.
Pretty intense, nice graphics but basically a frag fest, mission loads and you start shooting, actually disappointing, no real goals except shot and survive, your AI teammates suck, you can't walk up to a corner to sneak a peak to see what is on other side without them running out into the open area and get the shooting started again.

For just going out and shooting it is great but give it a month before buying and it will be found for under $20  ;) (also dont bother for the directors cut price nothing on it worth the cost)

I just came back from Wal-mart, where they had a xbox360 set up on a lcd with COD2. Playing the demo my jaws just dropped. The graphics are just plain unreal. Looked like I was in a war movie.
When I get my 360 along with my plasma in april I will  be getting this game.

Hmm...I felt CoD:II was a great game...

I felt they added a few nice new features, mostly eye candy...

...like how you were in that Russian pipe, and the machine gun opens up on you...

..I was like "WHOA"...

^^^not too many games does that to me ;)

...and btw...I felt that the smoke was the bad part of the graphics, it all looked too much like a 2d photograph ::)

The game play is repetative, but I ended up not playing for the action, but rather the new eye candy that I'm gonna eventually encounter...

...my main concern is for them to fix the weapon recoil...

...feels like a 3 year old is shooting :P...

Managed to get CoD2 working, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it ran! I kept the default graphics settings (which I presume were optimised for my computer), and it ran well, and looked really good. I've only played 2-3 missions so far, but I sure plan to do a lot more!

It's very much like CoD1, though with slightly better graphics. Recommended if you liked the original :)

Ive got it and love it!  :)
Boy Dave, your kids are lucky! Wish my father played shooters!  Mine ocasionnaly plays Gran Turismo on the PS2 but I doubt he knows how to reverse! ;)
;D
PS Tweek, the graphics are much improved. Try setting all graphics options to the highest!  ;)

but i have completed CoD2 SP, and i love the 'Hill 400' mission
pretty intense mission! (its a american mission)
