F.E.A.R. Demo

Postby Scorpiоn » Mon Aug 22, 2005 4:01 am

Cripes ahmighty!  Half Life 2's Ravenholm is a circus compared to this!  Needless to say, my hair was always on end, and I frequently felt hot with my stomach crawling up my esophagus!  So friggin' scary, but I have to admit, I am hooked!  I'm not sure why I want to be scared silly, but the appeal is there!  While there's nothing really revolutionary in F.E.A.R. itself, it's just finally a game that gives you what you want.  I was even scared by my shadow!  Half the time I was expecting a second one to pop up next to it!

-Starr; listening to happy music on a colourful screen in a bright room at 4 o' clock in the morn'! :-[

An excellent demo, fabulous graphics & shadows effects, needs quite a brute of a machine to run well though!

Another game I want, but, will never find the time to enjoy. :(

Its an awesome demo. I definitely plan on buying it. Think of it as Doom 3 meets Half life 2, with steriods mixed in.

I love games like these; they reward me for all that time and money I spend on my 'pooter.  I'm not sure if I should buy it though.  It seems like after you play it the first time, there's nothing really there for you, since F.E.A.R's main appeal is frighting you (go figure), and now you know everything that's going to happen.  Plus, I'm not the bravest guy in the world! :-[
