I have indeed already seen it, wonderful program for amazing your 8 year old I can tell you!  ;D

it just makes you wonder, if Google earth is freely available for any joe from anywhere to have access to, just what do Govornment / Military establishments have to play with?

Scary thought!

Big brother is watching...not really

Actually, the amount of spying power the US has is frightening. They have satilites that can read license plates on cars (google "big bird satelite") and that was in 1985. Luckily, they don't really care about common people. The big brother thing is kind of an overestismation of US inteligence. The US has neither the interest nor time to spy on the average joe. Those satilites are searching for bin laden and the like.

I'm not so sure about that. http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/uk.html

Be careful as they probably log details of everyone visiting the website. ::)

Yeah, thats one of the differences between military and google earth.

Military intellience is live meaning that information is up to date within the last 3 seconds or so (latency and other factors make up for the 3 seconds).
