Lock on modern air combat problem

Postby marick626 » Tue Jun 21, 2005 5:55 pm

I just bought lock on modern air combat and pacific fighters.

When I start up lock on, the sound sounds great but after like 10 minutes, it starts sounding really bad and fuzzy and really loud and people specacking like in slow motion and its just horrible. and when I quit the program, my computer crashes. :(

How can I fix this? ???
I had the same proble with operation flash point a couple of years ago.

Am I the all-knowing mind-reading wonderboy or what?

Look for your soundcard's manufacturer, got to its site and download the newest drivers for it, dammit.

And if those don't work, try a different set.  In the time it takes you to come here, post, and wait for a reply, you could have gone through all of them and found one that works.

Also remember that LockOn CAN be a system hog.  Try backing off your settings a bit.

Get it and see for yourself. It's only about $20 by now.

Lock On, got it, played it for a week and still never learned all the key combos you needed to be effective. Removed it from my machine and moved on.

Graphically it's very well done.

Some like the complexity of the acft., weapons systems etc. I don't.  ;D

If you are in the states and trust me, I will sell ya mine for 1/2 of what store's want. Collecting dust here.
