Very true, but now you mention the Ford "F" series. . . . .
F-350 Lariat
A top-end one of those would do me nicely (minus the price tag of course ;D)

And yes, moving to America (or Canada) will be one of my major objectives (before I'm 30 ;D)

Cheers,

Carl

Some of you may have found this already, but there's a simple way to get some serious money really quick.

Buy a used (preferably Japanese) car, I got a '97 Supra RZ for 35k, tune it up as much as you can afford and reduce weight.

Then go to "Special Conditions" (bottom left of world map) and enter the "Rally Costa Di Amalfi" (Capri rally), you DON'T need dirt tires to enter.

Win both races (nice and easy, just watch for twists and jumps in the track) and you should receive the "Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car".

Sell the car for 265k, then return to "Special Conditions" and repeat the same race again (Choose clear when it asks you if you want to clear previous results, otherwise you won't be able to win another car).

4 of these and you have a million, nice and easy 8), you also get 5k for every win 8).

Follow these steps and you'll be kicking a$$ in no time ;D. . . . . ;)

Happy racing,

Carl. . . . .Cruising in a silver Viper 8)

Did a similar thing - 2nd hand RX-7, SPecial Conds. Sold the Toyota RSC - did the same event in normal an got Subaru WRX prototype... Enter the Subaru challenge, win the Impreza race car.... Sold both, bought Audi A4 DTM car, win the DTM and get the Merc CLK-LM - 750K in one hour...

my advice is to buy the corvette race car i did so without the easy route and its worth it. I dont think it can be beaten in most of the races. give the final engine upgrade to make it truely unbeatable. Cant be used everywhere but enough to make money for other cars where needed. Also buy cars on the bases they can be used elsewhere. For instance the RUF3000 with a bunch of upgrades can be used in a number of specialty races.

The Camaro LM-1 Race Car is what I have been using, and it is really good.  Best of all, you don't have to pay a ton of money to get it.  All you have to do is win the "Stars and Stripes" series in the American Races and you get it.  Plus, those races aren't all that difficult.  With the stage 4 turbo charger, it has well over 900hp and drives very well.

Also, someone told me that if you change your oil before you drive a new car for the first time it gives you a little more horsepower.  I tried it with the 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 (which you get from the New York 200 Miles Race) and my horsepower went from 425 to 451 for just that.  My torque also increased about 25ft/lbs as well.

Yeah they had it in 3 too. However i have noticed it doesnt work on all of the cars. I have also found a rather though series to pass is the supercar one in professional races. Even with the Corvette racing car.
Oh and those who have won that 1886 mercedes carrage dont try it on the 1/4 test. It takes 1:23 ::) top speed 11mph

I am now attempting the ultimate. Trying to get the F1 car through means of the 24 hours at nurburgring. Just using the B spec and sped up time, but has to be watched as the pit stops are only partially automatic. ::)

As an update, i am now 6hours and 30 mins in, if you have a race car be it camaro corvette or XJ220 race car model use it, and equip it with the hardest compound tire you have, i am using the sports medium and its requiring a pit stop every 3 laps. Doesnt look like it goes from day to night which sucks.

OK, now at half distance 100 laps done so far. Seriously guys if you can buy one of those cheat thingys that unlocks cars with a code do so it really isnt worth racing. :'( should be done by 8pm

Well only 2 hours to go, i can confirm there is no day to night >:( And i started this at 11am or round that time. It is now 8:20pm so you get an idea of how long with accelerated time it can take.

Wow, you actually did that 24hr Nuremburg race-congrats dude.  What car did you use and how much horsepower did it have?

Also, when doing it in B-spec-how does the pit stops happen-by that I mean do you have to tell the car when to pit or does it automatically?

Ok just finished it. Takes roughly 9 hours maybe more depending how you handle it.
I used the XJ220 race car fully upgraded. with 900hp.
the pit stops will work automatically if your tires are red on the gauge and if your fuel gauge is low. However it will also reset the time speed to real time after so you cant ever leave it too long if you want it over with quickly in B spec. You have the option to switch throughout the race though.
