Fraps

Postby beaky » Sun Feb 20, 2005 12:11 pm

I got a trial version of fraps a while back and dicovered something odd. It takes great stills off FS9, but will not record a video clip off that program no matter what settings I use. Works fine with every other moving-graphics program I've ever run on this machine... just won't do it with FS9.
Murphy's law being what it is, I know this has a lot to do with the fact that I only wanted fraps for FS9, but I'm curious: is there a fix? Something I've overlooked? Anybody?

Don't really know much about fraps, but I heard its quite buggy with certain games. Make sure you have the latest versian so it has support for dx9.

When i want to reocrd something, I hook up a DVD recorder (as in the home entertainment kind, not ones in your computer) to my video cards video out. Its better and you have no performence loss in your games.
