Free web hosting?

I am thinking about putting a website on the web ( )

Can anyone reccomend a good free service which will allow me to use my frontpage created website? I think it will be quite a simple website - nothing too comlicated!

I can recommed http://free.hostdepartment.com and http://www.fateback.com.

They both have full FTP, no popups, unlimited bandwidth, 50mb disk space, and a small, unobtrusive advert at the bottom of the page.

I have heard that Lycos Tripod is good, but I tried it and I have to say it is awful. There is a huge frame on the right side of the page and blue popups on each page. I really do NOT recommend this.

Yes, I have used brinkster in the past and they have been very good. They had, however, no FTP and this was a real problem for me, having a site that it over 400 pages. Then they decided to have ads, and I decided to go for a paid host
