Virtual Cockpit

Postby Jehuty » Fri Nov 04, 2005 12:00 am

Ooh yeah...

I've been looking at stuff on the net for a while now..
And i've finally come up with a "cockpit" that i truly want.

It will cost me ALOT, nearly $1500 dollars (Well, some people go way over that i understand..)

Anyways, i plan to get:

#1: A Saitek X52 Joystick, scince i don't wanna spend a bunch of money on a Thrustmaster HOTAS.

#2: i-Glasses PC Pro 3D Monitor glasses, these are amazing... it's like you're actually in the game, not like e-dimensional, but like..... well, it's a new set of eyes :).

#3: A Gentex HGU-55  Helmet, for a specific purpose.

#4: A Track IR Pro tracker from e-dimensional.com, i'll put the reflective stickers on the helmet.

#5: Rudders.. :P

-With all of this, you'll actually be looking inside a plane, provided virtual cockpit is with you...

(I'll have so much fun flying Kirk's F-16 >:D)

Just some ideas that i plan to do.

WELL... i'm getting to the part when my computer is upgraded... (Lol.)

After that, comes the new Joystick, which i'm still disputing over.

It's either the Saitek X-52 or the Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS.

Thanks for asking though.
