SimKit Assembly Question

Postby Skittles » Mon Sep 20, 2004 12:03 pm

Hi,

Is anyone here using SimKit's instruments?  Have you have problems assembling them? If so, could you describe the problem?

I'm seriously looking at purchasing 5 for my primary instruments. There are a couple people in Austrailia who have had problems.  I'm a computer geek, not an electrician so I'm hoping for some input to what I may expect.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe
I'm building a Robinson R22 Cockpit to use with Simkits
guages. I have assembled the following:
1. Airspeed Indicator
2. Altimeter
3. Tacho
4. Vertical Speed Indicator
5. Heading Indicator
6. Turn Co-ordinator
7. Atitude Indicator

The instuctions are downloaded from the Simkits site and are really simple. You need to be able to use a soldering iron though.

The only tricky one was the altimeter, but, once you read the instuctions properly, no problem!
I'm in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Cheers
Howard

I guess you didn't have problems getting the servos to fit.  Thanks for your reply.
