Nothing wrong, this is a known problem. Try either turning SATA to disabled and do an install, or make a pen drive into a boot device and do the install that way ;)
Be sure to install XP FIRST as 7 won't allow an XP install once it is on (without using some iffy tricks which waste time).

OK thx, but I do not know what you mean by
"make a pen drive into a boot device and do the install that way"

HP made a little program a while back so a pen drive (memory stick) can be made to be a boot device the same as a floppy or CD. http://www.bootdisk.com/pendrive.htm use method 2 ;)
