Yeah, when he says to "Get this", that's what it means really; understood. I think that he must have some inside info, and that this RAM is somehow better. Besides, IdahoSurge uses it, and has the fastest OC ive seen. Just wait it out, I guess...

Don't really use newegg.com, but it doesn't say it's "out of stock"! HURRY!

If you email Mushkin directly, they will tell you when they expect the 6-7-6-18 memory available directly from them.
And you can order it from them directly when they have it. It's a lot easier than trying Newegg. They have very good Customer Service and will help you with it.

When Nick first specked the I7 CPU there was not a lot of affordable DDR3 available.

With DDR3 memory readily available I don't know if he is still holding hard and fast on that specific ram.

I run Mushkin PC3-10700H at 800MHz 7-9-7-24 (Which Nick helped me OC) and have no problems running at 4.2G 24/7.

Well thanks for the help, I got every thing finally.....Then when I went to move my computer and plug every thing back in, I kinda ripped the front of my case off with the power button, so I had to order a new case, that's why I have not been on for a while.

The name of the game is LOWEST TIMING at HIGHEST SPEED

But you must also take into account your motherboard/proc and how you intend to clock it. Any memory speed above 1600MHz is going to require you take into account the CPU RATIO and BCLK to obtain the speed of the memory and run it stable with the CPU. That is why DDR3 1600 is the best choice for most.. its the easiest to deal with in most situations

The 6-6-6 and 6-7-6 sticks are not available... this is the next step (6-8-6-24) and if you are going to get them, you better get them now because they are fast being sold out
