Awwww S***

Well I bought a really nice ergonomic wireless keyboard and mouse today. It said that it was compatible with Windows 7.
Well, after being impressed, I go to play FSX. I'm lazy so I don't hook up my yoke. My T-6 starts off in the VC so I go to press F11 and take a look at the outside. But nothing happens. After further analysis, none of the Fwhatever keys work with anything! Yes everything is set up right, but is this because it just says it's 'Compatible with Windows 7'?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is 'F' lock? I'm guessing it locks F1-F12, but why? My Alienware TactX keyboard does not have one, as far as I can tell. The only thing I have no idea of the purpose or what it does, is a slide switch above the F3/F4 keys with a small logo that looks like some type of game controller and lights up when slid to the right. I can't find anything in the manual about it.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

It basically locks the F keys to certain shortcuts and functions whereas turning it off reverts them to standard F keys.....it's a bit pointless really...
