The Core i5 750 along with the Phenom II 965 are the best value processors you can get. Very fast. Great price. The i5 in particular, is very efficient (little heat, overclocks extremely well). That being said, as always, it won't be as fast as a Core i7 950 (or similar) more expensive processor. Should run FSX and Battlefield Bad Company 2 very well. Also, I only know of pricing in Australia & The United States, I don't know if 450 pounds is a good deal.

I have the Battlefield Bad Company 2 BETA. And with my 8800GT overclocked (aka 9800GT, a fair bit (but not massively) faster

Also, if you want upgradeability for your videocard, you're better off getting a power-supply that has two six-pin PCI-E connectors, preferably one six-pin PCI-E connector, and one 6+2 pin PCI-E connector. 550 watt PSU PROBABLY (but might not) has that thus probably is sufficient for a really high-end power-hungry videocard. Lastly, as always, power (aka wattage) doesn't tell us how good the PSU is in reality. It's only one part of the equation.

Benchmarks for Battlefield Bad Company 2 are here: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthr ... f&t=148199 (for some odd reason they added 8x anti-aliasing, and 16x anisotropic, with maxed out settings).

I'm guessing that with the Core i5 750, the 9600GT will be the bottleneck, so the results should be similar to the link above.

If you don't understand anything I have said just tell me and I will explain it in simpler words

Yer it does make sense:) really that it would be good but another part of my system is letting me down....the GPU

its something i would have to work around but it would still be an improvement to what i have now though :)

I dont know if ill get it but its just the start thanks

Ironically this is like the same system I have going up soon. I already have my 9600GT and Antec BP550... I plan on the Core i5 soon, but I'm gonna get the ASRock P55 Extreme mobo.
