HELP!!!PLS Nick are you there???

Postby 757200ba » Tue Sep 08, 2009 3:51 pm

Hello i have a KDS usa 717 lcd monitor.
Today i had to install windows, i have instal the latest drivers for my 7600gt video card.
The problem is everytime i start the pc or if i go into the nvidia panel the monitor usually goes black, like is detecting the settings ( and it always done that), but now my screen goes to the right and i only see half.If i use the monitor controls, they can center the image back.If i press reset on the monitor all goes back in order. But the thing is there is no "save" button so it can mantain the settings. So everytime i reboot the pc i need to reset it, because before windows log on, and the monitor like resize or adjust, and gets to the side

Did you install the driver for the KDS?

http://www.kdsusa.com/Drivers.asp-Win95 thru XP drivers.
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Well i did download the driver, but it say it doesnt recognise. And the truth is i never had to instal it.
Its only doing it on windows. im using 1024*768*32 like i always used, and 60hz i always used 72 or 75. But even if i change it, it will do the "adjusting" thing.Looks like something was activated or took out of the screen so it is always doing this.
Thank you

Nick has posted that he will not be as available as he was before, due to intense work on getting GEX europe finished & released.

He still stops in from time to time, to make sure we haven't all blown our systems and such ( :D ), so be patient, he will see this in due time, and respond when he gets a moment. ;)

Blame the videocard here, not the monitor.
It should have reset the output instead of going to windows default (60hz)

But what you did has the same effect... DDC reset on the videocard
