FS9 defrag

Doesn't sound like you're using O&O defrag as the defrag tool. If you're doing the windows defrag, don't expect much from it

The program I'm using is called "DefragExpress" sold here http://www.disktrix.com.

To add to my previous.  Downloaded the OO defrag and found it even slower.  Did the DefragExpress again and am down to 56 mins and 89% optimisation so things are looking up.

Just because it says it's optimized, doesn't mean it is. The reason we simmers use O&O defrag is because it does things a certain way which optimizes the files for smoother gameplay and loading times. Nick can shed more light on this, as he's the one who really knows how it works ;)

If you're looking for FS9 performance, we recommend O&O defrag. If not, it's all up to you :)
