9800gt/gts vs 8800gt/gts

All,
I am contemplating a new video card and would like to know the big defference between these cards?  I want to play FSX but I also like FPS and would like to play crysis and L4D and CoD4/5 etc.  Which card would be better?
The PC Specs- Antec SLK 3700 - Asus A8n-E NF4 Ultra Dual Channel - AMD Athlon 64 3700 939 Sandy E6 Core - Western Digital Cavair SE WD800JD 80GB & 250GB HDD - 2GB GSkill PC3200 - Sparkle P790 512MB 7900GT - Zalman 9500A

8800 is only better than 9800 in fsx. (not sure if 8800 is better OR on par with 9800 in FSX but there isn't too much different.)

9800 wins in most other games.

The 9800.
