FSX not reading ATi 4870 on new rig

Hey all I have abit of a conundrum.
I got my new rig together yesterday, tried installing FSX today.
The rig is
Vista Ultimate 64bit
ASUS Maximus Extreme Mobo
HIS ATi 4870
2x 1TB Seagate drives RAID0
Intel Q9550 CPU
Catalyst updated to 8.12
Bios updated
X52 Pro controller
Antec Truepower 1000w supply

I installed FSX, service pack 1, and fsx acceleration.Installers finished correctly, then i ran dxdiag 64bit. When I go to start FSX it says videocard not able to run shader 1.1 FSX needs minimum ATi 8500. The rest of the system reads the 4870 correctly (crysis looks wicked) but FSX wont. Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated.

Fixed- I had an LCD tv on monitor 2, disabled it, FSX worked.
