Since I started trying my hand in OCing, also chan

Postby luke » Tue Nov 04, 2008 9:03 am

Since I started trying my hand in OCing, & changed the CPU Cooler/PSU, it could be a coincidence ofcource, when I press the button to start it fires for a second, stops & 2 secs later fires up automatically.

Could any Guru explain it please?

not a Guru but do you keep your system plugged into the wall all the time - not turned on, just plugged in?

I've seen this happen when a system is unplugged from the wall or use the main PS switch for on/off, which removes power to the PS so when you first startup you'll get a quick fan spin and then the system will start up. If you keep it plugged in all the time and turn it off with the front panel switch NOT the PS switch, it should correct the issue

Thanx all,

problem SOLVED, somehow, as I found that if I hold the SW in for a couple of seconds it continues with the startup. It was not necessary before though.
