What do you all think of this idea (the actual work would not be the problem). I have an old set of CH rudder pedals that are game port. They have been gathering dust due to my set up not really liking the game port to USB interface that I tried. Now being that they are game port, they have no real value. I would be lucky to get a Euro for them on Ebay. Buying a new set is out of the question, Mrs-the-ex-pat would string me up by the short and curlies

What is a possibility is the folllowing, rip out all the game port "bits" and buy a cheap USB joystick to transplant into the pedals. A cable is a cable and a potentiometer

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
