So my webcam is broken (VX1000 and the IR filter)

So basically my VX1000 is broken and outside of refund warranty. The problem with it is that the IR filter is smashed... so my red shirt is blue, my brownishy blonde hair is blue and red acrylic put over the front of the lens comes up as colourless.

Does anyone know if this section of the webcam can be replaced, if so how? Or rather, where can I buy a replacement component from?

It is just a swively lens to focus which has the filter in it.

Those filters look a bit overkill... I need one that is about 2mm square...

If worst comes to the worst I will get a new webcam as I am asked to go on it more and more and I look dreadful on it currently (*insert joke about how the new webcam won't make a difference*  :P)

Just seeing if there are replacement parts available as I am short on cash at the best of times.

I can probably have a look around tomorow. I am going to the recycling center for old computer and joystick parts... they might have a webcam there or atleast a good lens/IR filter that would fit.
