Even Closer....

Just bought the rest of the system minus the HDD and OS. Build will be on Friday when it all gets here. Yah!!

Awesome. You get to play with it on the weekend. I sent the check but it hasn't been checked it or recived yet so I have a waiting game here. :-/

Well less massive as I have thought about it and downgraded to the nforce 780i. I don't really need DDR3 as it is way to complicated to set it up in the BIOS for its money's worth. so I'll stick with trusty DDR2. ;)

THat's what I did. You have to pay like 300 bucks for 2gb of cheap DDR3 :-/ ;)

Worked for a while today.  Mounted the motherboard after preps and then put in the PSU. Plugged the case in (fans, lights power, etc) and am now in the process of cable management, ugghh ;D

How's Vista handleing the 4gb of memory and processor? Is the board working well and stable? I really need a system now.

I haven't even starting mounting the parts to the motherboard yet and Vista isnt even here
