Is this a big problem

Postby PMK » Sun Feb 24, 2008 10:44 pm

I have Nvidia 7800GS card that I have been runnig for a year plus now and is still working but when I go in to device manager and display adapter it shows the 7800GS it to be in loaction PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0. This is an AGP card. Im confused a little.  Could this cause problems as I have a issues with the unit when it boots up. It take along time for the rig to start XP once xp starts its up and running in 30 seconds but it takes a minute + with rig just sitting there then XP starts. Just curius.

Thanks
Pk

Put device manager on 'show by connection'... then you see that the 'agp-to-pci bridge' is in the tree that leads to the videocard... that one is d0/f0@bus1
