FSX screen resolution

Postby lupedelupe » Thu Feb 21, 2008 7:26 am

Hi folks,

I am looking at getting a 22" LCD monitor for FSX. Can anyone here tell me if it will handle a screen resolution of 1680X1050?

Many thanks.

22" LCD's are generally native 1680x1050, the same as 20".

twice that and beyond

what you must make sure of is your video card has enough memory to handle the frame buffer at higher resolutions.. I would not even attempt a high res with less than 512 and 768 for 1920x1200 and higher

What is your graphics card anyway?

FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack
1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.

At the moment an 8600GTS.
But would have to upgrade if I want to run more than one display.
