I would go with the Bearlake (x38), but see if they's any Gigabyte ones.

OK then... I took the plunge.. (someone offered me more than my old computer was worth.. so I sold it and threw another one together).

Yeah.. and I'm delighted, so far. This Q6600 is stupid easy to overclock (the eVga 780i SLI, has the most flexible BIOS I've ever seen (why I chose it over the  Asus X38 board)).. and this G92/PCIe-2.0 8800GTS is actually smoother than my old, non-2.0  8800GTX... 4-4-4-12 T1 on this RAM, and all is well  :)
