Thinking about a new joy stick, any recomendations

Hello,

I am using a MS Sidewinder JS that is at least four years old if not five.  The JS itself is fine, but I have been thinking about upgrading and was wondering what other people are using.

I did purchase a Saitek X52 Pro earlier this year, but it did not work, the multifunction display would not work so I sent it back.  After getting it I am glad that it did not work because I decided that the separate throttle was not for me, I just want a joy stick.

Any recommendations?

Why "upgrade" then?
I'm on my second M$ FFB1 JC and wouldn't trade it for any other.
