Is there any Throttle Quadrant with Reverse levers

Postby neu » Sat Jan 12, 2008 7:01 am

Hi there,

I was just wondering  if there are any throttle quadrants which are featuring reverse thrust levers? I'm really thinking about buying a TQS, but I don't know which one to pick...

Also I'm interested to any opinions on any TQS you guys are using!

Happy Flying!

Yeah I know that one, but I meant a lever which is realistic, and is on the throttle lever like the real one. In custom built cockpits I see a lot of these, and I really don't think that every single of those are scratchbuilt. I mean I'm aware of the fact, that these guys are scrathbuilding a lot, but I have an impression that it should be available somewhere...

Yeah, this is the one which seems to be a good balance between the price and the features....I've found the same yesterday ;)

Thanks :)

using FSUPIC, your able to set the reverser points on your joystick. i have a reverser point at 20% of the throttle range on my X52.

only way i know how to set reversers unless the HOTAS has a but in reverser.

Yeah, I know but what I was looking for is a "Physycal" lever for the reverse :) Thanks anyway!

My Saitek Throttel has a negative region asignable as as reverser (F2). So You click in the neg just like in real life and it's cheap compaed to the other one shown here.

http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-Three-Thro ... 050&sr=8-1

Also you can click two together --> 6 sticks.

And you are still cheaper than the other one.

Cheers,

Fabian

Yeah, I was checking this too. As for the price, it's looking pretty good. Originally I was sking for the reverse lever like you can find in the bigger juts, like the 737, 747 etc, which works different. In those cases you can find some extra arms connected to the thrust levers itself, and you pull it back once the throttle is in idle. it's a separate lever. But based on my researches, those TQS's are extremely expensive, so I'll consider the one you proposed. I like the idea of joining them together!

Also as far as I know on the main device you have an USB hub too to connect the further devices.
