Well today my Dad said that he would "manage" (in other words pay for it) me building a computer. It won't be until mid/late spring but I still want to create SOME kind of list. I'll wait to see what new comes out until then, but it WILL run FSX 25-35 FPS with most sliders to the right, on DX10. I know that's a lot to ask but in March/May that might be normal. I can't wait! By then we might be able to run FSX to its full potential. My dad said it's at the bottom of his list, but since I'm waiting until spring I don't think that will matter. I'll ask about hardware at a (much) later date. But My current list is an NVIDIA 8800GTX, Intel Core2 Extreme processor QX9650 running at 3.0 GHz, maybe a 750 Watt PSU, don't know what Mobo,

When you decide to build or upgrade a computer, don't do it Expecting maxed out settings in any games, do it just to have something better, and you will never be disapointed. Just research and do your homework and build what you want and need, its quite simple, Asking for something to run 25-35FPS in FSX is completely irrelevant so don't ask for that. Believe me, you'll only want to kick yourself in the butt in the end.
