Do you already have a case, DVD drive, and motherboard? Those bits aren't listed. Also do you already have a monitor and do you need the XP disk?

$800 is a much better budget.

I didn't plan on spending a whole lot but it looks like I endend up spending...$810 (w/ the soontobe graphics card) and saved...around a thousand bucks. Comps reg price with those specs...$1400 almost. I saved more than $600. Trust me flyboy, you can do waaay better than that.

If I were you I would do slightly better with the HD or buy an external HD later cos 80Gbs isn't going to go very long...also, if you want to drop an extra $50 bucks or less, than I would go with an ATI VisionTek HD3850 256mb...but that's just my opinion!

What should i do for a hard drive? i gave the one i was going to use away and plus it was only ATA. i was wondering what i can get for a good deal on a decent HD.

EDIT: Also should i upgrade my power supply? i have a 400W power supply right now.
