Which Ram Configuration should I use?

Postby Groundbound1 » Sun Dec 16, 2007 6:36 pm

This new build of mine marks my first venture into the world of DDR memory. (having only used PC-133 till now, I'm really moving up in the hardware world huh? ;D )

Here is what I have to work with:
2GB PC3200= one 1gb, (2X512MB)

If your not overclocking, use all three. The HyperX stick will slow to the slower latency. Having more standard speed RAM will always provide better results than using less high speed RAM.

use the configuration that works :P

CJ is right, more memory available has a higher advantage that a lower amount of high speed ram.

Cool, I was going to try all three eventually, but I'll try all three first.

Thanks,
