What RAM should I buy?

Postby MCAntonio aka AN21 » Tue Dec 04, 2007 2:49 pm

I want to buy a RAM for my PC. I think 1 GB would be OK(but a 2GB with a reasonable price would be even better). It must be a DDR1 also. Here are my system specs: Windows XP Home sp2, Intel Pentium 4, CPU 3.40 GHz, 512 MB of RAM(for now)...Can you recomend a good one? Thanks for taking a look :)

At a not outrageous price I'd recommend Hynix D43 ;)

I used Kingston Memory on my old P4 system, default timings of 2.5-3-3-8, ran superb in dual channel mode, and cheap too.
DDR400 will be ample if you're not planning to overclock.
